Humans are designed to compartmentalize objects, ideas, and experiences. It’s how we survive. Our early ancestors’ ability to instantaneously decide a whether a situation was safe or dangerous was imperative if they wanted to keep their weak, hairless little bodies alive long enough to pass along their genes. WWII veterans get special sendoff on their way to France for D-Day anniversary June 6th this year will be the 80th anniversary of D-Day, when in 1944 the Allied forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in military history on the beaches of Normandy, France.
